Today at the Warrior Forum, somebody asked when we first went full time with our business. This got me to thinking. I realized that even though I had been doing this full time from day one, there are some people who have never gotten to full time status after many years, nor do they have any desire to do so. What about you? Are you full time or part time? Not sure which is better? You might want to read this article for some advice from somebody with a clue.
There are definite advantages and disadvantages to working full time on your home business. Ultimately, you have to decide what’s best for you.
At the top of the list is time. Time is something that we can never get back. So if you’re working a regular job and doing this part time, there is only so much you’re going to be able to get done in a day. The time you spend working at your regular job is gone forever. You can never get that time back. Now, if you’re desperate for money and your full time job isn’t providing you with the income you need, running a part time business is only going to delay reaching your ultimate goal.
On the other hand, if you quit your regular job, there is no longer any safety net. There is no guaranteed income coming in at all. So now, you MUST make your home business work in order to just survive. This can be a scary thought for some people. It was scary for me even though I lost my job and had no choice but to go full time. In the back of my mind, I still wished that I had a full time job to fall back on. But I didn’t have that luxury. For me, it was either sink or swim.
Another plus about going full time is that you get to keep your concentration and focus on your business all the time. I can’t even imagine what it would be like to have to go to work, come home, get a little something done, and then, just as I am getting somewhere, have to go to bed, get up the next morning and go to work, thus leaving my business behind. For me, that would be a very frustrating thing. I really couldn’t honestly say I could keep my mind on my regular job under those circumstances.
If I had it to do all over again, I wouldn’t change a scary as it was being out of work. Concentrating on my home business full time allowed me to focus and get things done that I probably wouldn’t have gotten done had I still been working. Ultimately, you have to do what you think is best for you.…
If there is one of the most rewarding business in the world, a work from home online business will be one of them. An internet business can provide you with lots of advantages. Here are some of them:
(1) Flexibility and Freedom
If you’ve ever worked in a 9-5 job, chances are it’s hard to just leave your job and do something else outside your work. It’s not obvious to take some time off from your work and relax a bit. You can’t just go and watch tv for some time and come back. An online business can allow you to do that. Being your own boss, you can decide when you want to work and when to take some time off. You’re in total control. An online business can further give you extra benefits. You don’t need an alarm clock to go to the dreaded 9-5 rat race and battling through road traffic every day and when reaching work, you’re already tired. You can take vacation whenever you want and for sure you don’t need to work 8-10 hours every day. While the initial upfront work would mean more hours in front of your computer, once your business start to take leaps and bounds, you’ll spend less time working. Having more freedom also allow you to spend more time with your family and friends and do the things you love in life.
(2) Autopilot Income
I think one of the best things about operating an internet business is autopilot income. Autopilot income means passive income. Once you’ve done the work, the income flows without you doing anything. This is the lucrative part. This is also how you can have more freedom as you don’t necessarily need to be in front of your computer to earn income. You don’t need to trade time for money like in a regular job. Once you stop trading time for money in a regular job, your income stops. As a result, autopilot income enables you to go on holidays while being able to earn money simultaneously. Heck, you can be somewhere in a remote island sipping a margarita on the beach and checking your business on your laptop with wireless connection and you can see how many sales you’ve made on that day. I remember reading an inspiring story from a marketer saying he was drinking a corona and checking his online sales and saw he made $37,000 in sales in a single day while being away on vacation. It was really amazing and inspiring. I have to say this type of line motivated me to hop into internet business as well.
(3) Upfront Investment
An internet business does not require a considerable amount of upfront investment like a brick and mortar one does. And you don’t necessarily need to hire staff. You can outsource some of your work for sure but you don’t need to pay wages. Even if your online busines does not work, you wouldn’t have lost so much money as compared to a brick and mortar one.
These are only 3 benefits but there are more. Starting and operating a work from home online business is worth it and you can get started in less than 48 hours.…

Find a niche.
Nothing can happen until you find a profitable niche. Look on forums, browse through affiliate market places and do some keyword research in order to find a niche that has a lot of interest and also offers some affiliate product opportunities.
Create your product.
Product creation is a lot simpler than it sounds. You can hire a ghostwriter, create a few simple articles to link together or record an audio. There are dozens of ways to make a product quickly and easily so you can get on the road to making more money online.
Promote an affiliate offer within your product.

In addition to promoting the affiliate product within your product, you can also market the affiliate product to your visitors by creating a free autoresponder course. The course can promote both your main product and your recommended affiliate product.
Create your sales page.
You can’t sell your own product unless you have your sales page in place. Create a winning headline, captivating copy and be sure to include the opt in box to your free course so you can capture the information of those who don’t take action with your product immediately.
Drive traffic to your sales page.
Once all of the components are in place, you should start driving traffic to your sales page in order to get interested people to your page. You can use a variety of different methods to drive traffic including pay per click marketing, article marketing and social network marketing.
Present the buyers with a one time offer.

I previously wrote an article about some of my favorite free software. It wasn’t a long list because I intended to come back and write again on the subject. And this probably won’t be the end-all list either. Many of us have spent thousands of dollars for software to efficiently run our businesses. But there is an ever-growing offering of absolutely free software that is well-written and can boost your productivity and give you peace of mind. Here are two more of my favorites:
I am now on version 1.36. You can find this at malwarebytes dot org. In researching this product for this article, I discovered that some other security companies, most notably Norton, use Malwarebyes because it’s simply a speed demon when it comes to scan time. Of course, there are two sides to this issue; the first is finding the problems and the second is cleaning them up. It wouldn’t be much good to find problems faster than a speeding bullet and then do a lousy job of cleanup. I can tell you from personal experience, and from research, Malwarebytes does a good job at both. If you want protection in real-time, there is a Pro version which can be purchased. The Pro version also offers automatic updates and pre-scheduled scans. Compared to some other similar products, Malwarebytes is super simple to install, setup and use. The Pro version is around $25 and there are lots of places you can purchase. Just do an online search.
The shortcut to this little freeware device sits in the corner of my desktop and my laptop. It’s not fancy, but it’s just a no-nonsense timer that has an interface which can be customized to play a.wav or mp3 file of your choosing or you can use the built in sounds (ranging from a gong to an old-fashioned car horn) when the specified amount of time has elapsed. I just use it when I want to make sure I work within a specified timeframe. For instance, suppose I am about to make a phone call and I want to make sure I don’t stay on the conversation more than 5 minutes. When the caller says “Hello” I enter 5 minutes and press Start. It’s really so simple it almost seems archaic, but you wouldn’t believe how handy this tool is when you begin to use it. If you have a small netbook or other computer in the kitchen, you could even set it for cooking or baking. If you leave your laptop up, it can be set to use as an alarm clock. The company who makes it is Harmony Hollow dot net.
For anyone who didn’t read the first article, Jing was a huge hit with everyone who read it. I’m still receiving emails from folks thanking me for pointing them to Jing. You can find it at jingproject dot com. It’s a screen and video capture program. I use it every day.
