Posted on February 8, 2020September 24, 2020 by Bella E. Hussain

Business
Why did the businesses fail to yield their expected profits? There is possibly many reasons running through your brain now, but they are based on circumstances. For instance, the enterprises could have been unsuccessful because of inflation or mismanagement of funds.

How about putting in the assumptions of fair production costs, good management skills, price stability and many other incentives, the reason is dated back to the time of starting the business. Before executing a business idea there are many influential factors that an entrepreneur has to consider;

-Honestly examining his strengths and abilities – This constitutes testing your abilities to be sure that they are purely able to take up the operations of the business. He should also check his financial abilities as well as establishing financial stands by which he will be able to start and operate his business.

-Having complete knowledge of the product or service to be provided – Knowledge of the product would enhance confidence in the business person while explaining to his customers about it. It would also be useful in solving problems that may attack the nature of the product, such as a product becoming stale due to unfair weather conditions. An entrepreneur can gain information about the product from data sources such as business journals, internet or even opt to employ a specialist in the product production to enable him understand the product.

-Evaluating the market of the product or service – Identifying the market trends and consumer patterns of the product. The performance of the product in the market would help predict the performance of the potential business in providing the product. In addition, pay attention to the customer regards of the product. 4 Easy Ways to Promote Your New Business

Posted on January 27, 2020September 24, 2020 by Bella E. Hussain

Business
You did it. You finally started that solo business venture that you’ve always wanted. No more 9 to 5 for you. You’re on your own. A fresh start. So, now that you’ve broke free from the cubicle, and are finished with punching a time clock, you’ve got to get the word out about your venture. You’ve got to drive traffic to your business, whether it be online, or off.

So what do you do to drive this traffic, especially if you have limited startup funds? How can you get the word out effectively, without breaking your bank, and potentially putting your new business in jeopardy before it even gets off the ground? Here are 4 easy ways to inexpensively promote your business, and drive that much needed traffic to your new solo venture.

1. Pay Per Click Advertising

Pay per click advertising is a great way to inexpensively promote your business. The two best places to place small ads on the search engines are Google Ads and Bing Ads (Bing Ads being less expensive, but has about 1/3rd of the search traffic). With both of these systems, you can easily place your ads using a daily or monthly budget you are comfortable with – you are in complete control of how much you spend, and on exactly where your ads are targeted. You can get the word out over the web, at a comfortable cost.

2. YouTube

Use YouTube to get the word out about your venture to the millions of searchers that hit the site every month. First, shoot or make a video presentation about your business (the content of which, I’ll leave up to you). Using effective keyword research, ‘tag’ your video with the best and most effective keywords and phrases that people are looking for. Once your video is up and running on the site, you will be getting ‘hits’, and thus, passive promotion of your business while you’re busy doing other things. This method of promotion, along with the Pay Per Click mentioned above, are very effective “set it and forget it methods” of promotion.

3. Offline Ads

Placing ads in appropriate newspapers, weeklies, periodicals, magazines, etc, does not have to break the bank. There are very reasonable sites out there that will pace your ad in a variety of locations, to wide array of readers, depending on your budget. My suggestion is to find an appropriate local area paper, and try a few different types of ads (not necessarily at the same time, of course). As one ad works more effectively to drive traffic to your business, then expand that ad’s reach by getting it published in a wider, more encompassing array of daily/weekly papers.

4. Article Marketing

As a budding entrepreneur, you may very well have an abundance of expertise in a certain area. Why not write about it? Using your specific knowledge to write articles in your area of expertise, you can accomplish two fold. You will create a library of knowledge for readers to use as a reference, which gives you yet another vehicle to use in promoting your venture. You will also have direct links to your business in the article, driving traffic directly to your venture. And again, as previously mentioned, this is another system where you can “set it and forget it”. Your only input with this method of promotion is to create more articles/content.

So, there you have it. These four simple methods of promotion can not only be low cost, but are extremely effective in enabling you to “work smarter, not harder”. Using these methods to “set it and forget it”, you can smartly set up your promotion and advertising, using a budget that is appropriate for your business, and leave yourself free to build your brand, spend more time with your friends and family, or the opportunity to expand your business, and bring it to the next level.…

Home Business Tips – Full or Part Time?

Posted on January 10, 2020September 24, 2020 by Bella E. Hussain

Home Business
Today at the Warrior Forum, somebody asked when we first went full time with our business. This got me to thinking. I realized that even though I had been doing this full time from day one, there are some people who have never gotten to full time status after many years, nor do they have any desire to do so. What about you? Are you full time or part time? Not sure which is better? You might want to read this article for some advice from somebody with a clue.
There are definite advantages and disadvantages to working full time on your home business. Ultimately, you have to decide what’s best for you.

At the top of the list is time. Time is something that we can never get back. So if you’re working a regular job and doing this part time, there is only so much you’re going to be able to get done in a day. The time you spend working at your regular job is gone forever. You can never get that time back. Now, if you’re desperate for money and your full time job isn’t providing you with the income you need, running a part time business is only going to delay reaching your ultimate goal.

On the other hand, if you quit your regular job, there is no longer any safety net. There is no guaranteed income coming in at all. So now, you MUST make your home business work in order to just survive. This can be a scary thought for some people. It was scary for me even though I lost my job and had no choice but to go full time. In the back of my mind, I still wished that I had a full time job to fall back on. But I didn’t have that luxury. For me, it was either sink or swim.

Another plus about going full time is that you get to keep your concentration and focus on your business all the time. I can’t even imagine what it would be like to have to go to work, come home, get a little something done, and then, just as I am getting somewhere, have to go to bed, get up the next morning and go to work, thus leaving my business behind. For me, that would be a very frustrating thing. I really couldn’t honestly say I could keep my mind on my regular job under those circumstances.

If I had it to do all over again, I wouldn’t change a scary as it was being out of work. Concentrating on my home business full time allowed me to focus and get things done that I probably wouldn’t have gotten done had I still been working. Ultimately, you have to do what you think is best for you.…

Bookkeeping Services to Small Businesses

Posted on December 2, 2019September 24, 2020 by Bella E. Hussain

Bookkeeping Services
In the United States (and many other countries), there are literally thousands of new businesses start-ups each and every month. There is currently a great opportunity for bookkeepers and accountants who are willing to provide these businesses with the services they require.

This opportunity will suit any of the following: Bookkeepers currently working but not getting job satisfaction, wishing to avoid the commute, looking for more control over their working lives and hours or simply wishing to fulfil their dreams. You get to choose your work hours, the clients to work with and it gives you time for other important things like time with your family. This type of work is both more rewarding and more satisfying than the daily commute and grind of working for somebody else. You also get to choose which clients to work with!

There are fairly few requirements of starting small business bookkeeping services and anybody with good attention to details, is good with numbers and willing to learn bookkeeping software can open a bookkeeping service. The law requires every business to do accounting on a monthly basis and so skilled small business bookkeepers are always in demand.

To begin your own business providing bookkeeping services, you will require a small office and the usual trappings, such as a computer, telephone stationery etc. The type of business you wish to operate needs to be determined. It is probably best to begin as a sole proprietor but you should seek the necessary advice and information before deciding. Other business types include corporation, cooperative and non-profit. Choose a business name to suite your work, apply for a business license and do the business name and type registration. You will need a copy of software you will be using for your bookkeeping business. Peachtree, Sage, Quicken and quickbooks all have good offerings with Fusion accounting offering a good online service which is very suitable for this type of work due to it’s portability.

Getting clients is the next stage and this may not be as difficult as you may think. Networking is a very worthwhile activity, but choose your groups wisely. Test a few in your area and stick with the ones showing most potential. Speak with local accountants who may not be interested in this level of work and so be able to pass clients on to you. Keep good track of your business expenses and pay your taxes when they are due.

As you become familiar with different business accounting needs, you will become more efficient in your work, which will also give you more freedom with your time. Take very seriously the risk in your business of data loss as this could be catastrophic. Create regular backups of your electronic files and store these securely so that is disaster does occur, it is easily rectified. Never omit to take your backup as this could save you countless hours and drudgery redoing lost work. You provide the client with orderly reports of all invoices, checks, tickets, statements and any additional services they may require such as tax computation totals. This will also help when it comes to billing the client; operator time etc and hourly charges are $20 average.

Networking is an important part of a home or small office bookkeeping service because that is where you will find potential clients. Attend as many local meetings and business events as you can where your target clients may be present. Talk to them and distribute cards, but be careful of hard-selling here.

Your future clients need to be able to find you online too, so ensure a good presence there as it is money well spent. Do not go for flashy websites, but ones that are optimised for the search engines so that you will be found. Another good tip is to try and name your business with the letter “A” as it’s first letter. This will help you be nearer the top of business listings and in telephone directories. If possible, obtain a phone number for your business which is memorable. And don’t underestimate the power of catchy slogans, but keep them professional sounding too.…

Five Steps To Build a Successful Business

Posted on November 21, 2019September 24, 2020 by Bella E. Hussain

Successful
1. Build your business around your vision

The first step in establishing your business is to make sure that you have a very clear and crystal picture of your vision. You should be able to articulate your vision well enough to the point that it is what you see, what you eat, what you sleep with and what you wake up to. Your vision is the determining factor for the establishment of your online business, it is so vital and so critical that you are able to crystallize your vision well enough.

2. Build your business around your purpose

The purpose of your business has to do with the overall mission of your online endeavor. What is the ultimate purpose of this online venture, why does it exist. You should be able to answer to questions such as what problems is it going to solve, what needs is going to meet, what solutions is it going to provide.

In sum you should be able to tell why does your online business exist and this aspect transcends the borders of your own life and riches to the overall market. Every business exists to proffer a solution, solve a problem, and meet a need. The question is what is yours?

How does your online venture contributes to the wellbeing of society and how does it satisfies their deep needs and desires. I guess that until you have this clear you do not have a business yet. What you have is a joke!

3. Build your business around your interests

If you are going to do this for a long time you should be interested enough in it, that’s why building your online business around your interests is absolutely critical to your success online. Following your interests should be something that you do from the onset because you do not want to wake up one day and discover that you have no interest whatsoever in what you are doing.

4. Build your business around your passions

Passion is the fuel that drives the engine, without it no matter how interested you are in that particular venture you will not go far. It is therefore, vitally important to make sure that you are passionate enough to your business endeavor.

Passion is what is going to make you work late hours at night, it is what is going to make you rise up early in the morning. When things get tough and you tend to be discouraged, guess what! your passion will propel you to move on and never give up. One of the secrets to the vitality of your business is how passionate you are about what you are doing.

5. Build your business around your strengths

Your strengths are a combination of your talents, your experiences, your knowledge and your skills. By focusing on your strengths and not in improving your weaknesses will put you ahead of the pack. It is absolutely critical for the sustainability of your business that you leverage your strengths. Because it is this that is going to differentiate and to distinguish you from your competitors and from the pack that is always looking for something to copy and to follow.

6. Build your business around your values

Your values constitute a fundamental aspect of your online business, in fact this is what is going to sustain your business. You must make sure that your online business is founded upon solid values and not only about making money.

The greatest problem that we see online today is lack of fundamental values in the manner some online entrepreneur construct their businesses. Due to the constant appeal to make quick money online, people go as far as lying and deceiving people by making promises that they cannot keep and by offering products that are just junk to say the least.

I must mention to you that if you are going to last in the online business fraternity it is vitally important that you establish your business upon solid values and not only upon making money all the time. It is actually disgusting to see what is happening online due to this fundamental and crucial aspect of business.

7. Build your business around principles

One thing that one must have in mind is that while values may vary from person to person and around ones preferences and choices, when it comes to principles one has to understand that the ball game is different. The reason for that is that while values may change given different circumstances and individuals, the same cannot be said about principles. Principles are the same no matter in which part of the planet you are at, the bottom line is that what you sow is what you reap. You see, that is a universal principle whether you believe …
